Shirt Laundering
We specialize in safely laundering all shirts and blouses. Our gentle process is careful on buttons, yet can remove the toughest collar and cuff stains.  We use premium detergents and a gentle wash cycle to preserve the life of your shirts.  All shirts are machine ironed and hand finished to make sure you look your best. You may choose light, medium, and heavy starch selections. Hanger shirts are packaged with collar supports and buttons intact. Boxed shirts are individually wrapped in a plastic bag for easy traveling or shelf storage. 

Couture Cleaning
Maintaining and preserving the integrity of your wardrobe garments is important. Islip Cleaners properly cleans and finish these specialty garments no matter what type of fabric, beads, sequins or dyes. After garments are expertly cleaned they are thoroughly inspected and packaged with the utmost care.  You’ve invested a lot in your wardrobe, let Islip Cleaners keep it at its original quality.

Suede and Leather
Islip Cleaners works with our affiliate to clean and restore all your leather and suede garments. Our technicians employ environmentally friendly processes to gently clean leather garments and give back the best possible result, while rejuvenating the skins so you can wear your jacket a long time.

Tailoring and Alterations
Islip Cleaners has a full alteration department that can mend a simple repair or completely alter a fine garment.  Our tailor would be happy to custom fit your wardrobe, or send in any pre-measured garment for fast expert service.  We also offer measuring service at your home or office.  The tailoring department is opened Mon. -  Sat. from 9:00am-5:00pm or you may call us at 631-581-2960 to set up an appointment.

Wedding Gown Cleaning and Preservation
All gowns are hand cleaned at our state-of-the-art plant with equipment designed specifically with this unique process in mind. The gowns are preserved in acid-free tissue paper, lignin free muslin and packed in a museum-quality archival acid-free box. You may view your gown after its boxed, they are not sealed. We recommend that you store the box in a cool, dry place. You can trust us to give your gown individual care and attention it deserves.
